Raymond John (a.k.a. John Anderson) is a Minnesota writer and dealer in antiques and collectibles. His lifelong interest in Malta took root in a childhood stamp collection and was nourished by graduate work in history and many research trips to the country. The story also is influenced by his work as a military intelligence specialist. He and his wife, Evelyn, live in Minneapolis and have two grown children.
